The thing about lawyer jokes — besides the fact that they’re never funny when you all of a sudden have to call one of us in the middle of the night — is that they don’t necessarily have to make any sense at all to be considered worthy of publication.  IP Kat, fully cognizant of the fact that no joke can survive dissection, nonetheless tries to determine the true cause of death of this one.
