Lauren Gelman writes to ask us to spread the word about a new online class on Bloggers and Liability:
We’re beta testing a Law and Technology Academy in a Virtual World. Tomorrow and Thursday at 5:30 PM PST, I’m going to teach a class in There.com you on Bloggers and Liability…

It’s free and should be useful. You do need a PC or a Mac running bootcamp to run the software.
Attend both sessions or just one. Tuesday’s class will focus more on First Amendment issues and Thursdays class will focus more on Copyright issues but there will be some overlap on general liability issues.
All you need to do is download the software here:
http://www.there.com/start_membership.htmland i’ll give you an avatar you can use to try it out. (Or you can create your own but you’ll need to pay the $10 to upgrade to a premium membership so you can have voice.)
We teach classes every Tuesday and Thursday.
This looks interesting.
