A court in Sweden on Friday convicted four men linked to the notorious Internet file-sharing service The Pirate Bay of violating copyright law, handing the music and movie industries a high-profile victory in their campaign to curb online piracy.
Fair enough. I’m sure there will be plenty to come on this, but probably not here. I originally blogged about this case here and noted that I didn’t see what was different about this case. Turns out, nothing.
Now, if only Somali pirates could run afowl of copyright law. Maybe then they would be dealt with…
