And here’s the hook for HIPLA (the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association):
HIPLA wishes each of our members and their families well in this difficult time of repair and recovery from Hurricane Harvey. While there is no doubt that Houston will recover from this disaster, there are members of our IP community who have been impacted by this storm and who will continue to be for months to come. We encourage all members of the community to help one another in any way possible, and wish for those community members who have been displaced at home and/or at work to know the following:
- The Barbara MG Lynn American Inn of Court would like to help displaced Houston area IP attorneys find office space or other resources in Dallas. If you need assistance please contact Stacey White, president of the Barbara MG Lynn Inn (214.802.6501 or staceygwhite@gmail.com). Judge White has asked me to convey to you the following: “The Dallas community stands with you during this difficult time.”
- Dennemeyer IP will be offering free administrative services to displaced attorneys and corporate legal departments for three months: “Dennemeyer will provide, without charging any service fee, three months of IP Docketing services, three months of U.S. Trademark Filing services and three months of services to administer foreign Patent Filings to those in the greater Houston area.” More information on this service can be found at the following here.
As HIPLA is notified of additional service providers available to assist we will endeavor to get that information out to our membership.
