“Your writing is your brand”

My friend David Krell will be giving a presentation at the International Trademark Association Annual Meeting in San Francisco on May 16th entitled, “What is your brand? Building and Managing a Trademark Practice.”  The official INTA program describes it this way:

WM50 Workshop—Strategic Personal Branding for Today’s Trademark Lawyer

Intermediate Level

MCW, Level 2, Rooms 2001

Your personal brand can be a terrific asset as you compete in an increasingly competitive legal economy. Whether you have developed your personal brand or you are just starting todefine it, this workshop will be invaluable to in-house counsel, sole practitioners, multinational law firm lawyers, small and medium size law firm lawyers, law professors and governmentlawyers. You will be able to apply lessons learned to the rest of your time at the Annual Meeting.

  • Understand, create and develop your authentic personal brand.
  • Outline a practical plan for communicating your brand to the media and to clients.
  • Identify the avenues available to use your brand to boost your client base.
  • Practice telling your story to increase the strength of your personal brand.

Moderator:  James M. McCarthy, McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP (United States)

Speakers: Deborah Knupp, Akina Corporation (United States)

David Krell, The Writing Guy (United States)

Paul W. Reidl, Law Office of Paul W. Reidl (United States)

So maybe you might want to check it out.
