Not Safe For Witlessness

Techcrunch:

I’d think this was a joke, except for the USPTO entry. Fark has lodged a trademark application for the term “Not Safe For Work.”

(Via Ed.) One grows fatigued at this point. The Techcrunch story gets it right and links to this blog for more; no need to gild the lilly here. Who knows where that could lead.

Don’t ask me why people do this. Ask Joseph M. Ruscak, who filed the damned thing.

UPDATE:  Good follow-up here, except how can “a professor at Seton Hall University’s School of Law who specializes in trademark law” use the word “trademarking“?
